The fitness industry is full of misinformation, bro-science, and lies designed to sell you supplements. Today, we are bringing the truth.

Myth 1: Lifting Weights Stunts Your Growth

This is completely false. Scientific studies have repeatedly shown that resistance training in teenagers improves bone density, joint strength, and overall health. It does NOT stunt height.

Myth 2: You Can Spot-Reduce Fat

Doing 1000 crunches a day will NOT burn belly fat. Your body decides where it burns fat from based on genetics. To lose belly fat, you must be in a caloric deficit and lose fat from your entire body.

Myth 3: Sweating More Means Burning More Fat

Sweat is just water leaving your body to cool it down. Wearing a garbage bag or sitting in a sauna makes you lose water weight, not body fat. The scale might drop, but it's just dehydration.

Myth 4: Carbohydrates Make You Fat

Carbs are your body's primary energy source. Eating carbs doesn't make you fat; eating too many total calories makes you fat. Eat complex carbs like oats, brown rice, and potatoes for sustained energy.

"Don't rely on motivation, it fades. Rely on truth and discipline."

Myth 5: Women Who Lift Will Look 'Manly'

Women do not have the testosterone levels required to accidentally become massive bodybuilders. Lifting weights will only make women look toned, athletic, and strong.
